Ecclesiastes 1:1 The words of ONE IN THE MULTITUDE, the son of David, king in Jerusalem:

Ecclesiastes 1:2 “Futile! Futile!” laments THE ONE IN THE MULTITUDE, “Absolutely futile! Everything is futile!”
(qoe-hell-leth / hoe ek’klaysia-stays)

Ecclesiastes 1:12 I, ONE IN THE MULTITUDE, have been king over Israel in Jerusalem.

Ecclesiastes 7:27 THE ONE IN THE MULTITUDE says: I discovered this while trying to discover the scheme of things, item by item.

Ecclesiastes 12:8 “Absolutely futile!” laments THE ONE IN THE MULTITUDE, “All of these things are futile!”
