twv ekklhsiwv (toe-own ek’klaysi-own /  των εκκλησιων) – 2 Corinthians 8:18-19, 24, 11:28, 1 Thessalonians 2:14

2 Corinthians 8:18 With him we are sending the brother who has been famed BY THE MULTITUDES throughout for his preaching of the gospel.

2 Corinthians 8:19 And not only that, but he has been elected BY THE MULTITUDES to travel with us as we carry out this act of grace that is being ministered by us, for the glory of the Lord himself and to show our good will.

* (how can corinthians show proof before churches? shouldn’t this translation say some thing like members?) 2 Corinthians 8:24 So show these men the evidence of your love and our boasting of you in the presence OF THE MULTITUDES.

* (how can he be burdened for anything but people? this cant be a conference.) 2 Corinthians 11:28 And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for THE MULTITUDES throughout.

* (there was only one church in judea unless paul is referring to individual people as assemblies this sentence makes no sense. How can you imitate an assembly? It must be individuals he is referring to) 1 Thessalonians 2:14 For you, brothers, became imitators of THE MULTITUDES (who belong to God in Christ Jesus) who are in Judea. For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews,

19 Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.
20 As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the messengers  (2 COR 8:23) of THE seven MULTITUDES, and seven MULTITUDES are the seven lampstands.

2 Corinthians 8:22 And with them we are sending our brother whom we have often tested and found earnest in many matters, but who is now more earnest than ever because of his great confidence in you.
2 Corinthians 8:23 As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for your benefit. And as for our brothers, they are messengers OF MULTITUDES, glory of Christ.
• (how can corinthians show proof before churches? shouldn’t this translation say members or attendants?) 2 Corinthians 8:24 So show these men the evidence of your love, and our boasting of you, in the presence OF MULTITUDES.
